EuroMillions £111m Prize Claimed In UK As Mystery Ticket-Holder Comes Forward

A mystery UK ticket holder has come forward to claim a £111,709,000 EuroMillions jackpot, bringing an end to the immediate search for the player behind one of Britain’s biggest lottery wins.

The winning ticket was bought for the Friday, 25 September 2026 EuroMillions draw, when a single UK entry matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars.

The winning EuroMillions numbers were 11, 12, 15, 38 and 49, with Lucky Stars 10 and 12.

National Lottery operator Allwyn subsequently confirmed that the ticket-holder had made contact to claim the enormous prize.

The winner has not been publicly identified and there has been no announcement revealing where in the UK the ticket was purchased.

Lucky Stars 10, 12

Next estimated jackpot £14 million

The development means anyone still checking tickets from Friday’s draw should be aware that the main £111 million jackpot has now been claimed by the holder of the winning ticket.

Allwyn described the result as the equal 14th-biggest National Lottery prize ever won in the UK.

It also takes the number of National Lottery prizes of at least £100 million won in the UK to 21.

The scale of the win becomes clearer when viewed alongside other recent EuroMillions jackpots.

A single UK ticket-holder won approximately £181 million on 10 March 2026, making it one of the largest National Lottery prizes in British history.

Then, on 21 April, two UK ticket-holders shared a £125 million EuroMillions jackpot with another winner in France.

That means the latest £111.7 million claimant becomes the fourth UK EuroMillions jackpot-winning player of 2026, although the September result represents the third EuroMillions jackpot draw this year to produce a UK jackpot winner or winners.

What Did Allwyn Say About the £111m EuroMillions Winner?

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Adviser at Allwyn, congratulated the ticket-holder after confirmation arrived that the enormous prize had been claimed.

Carter said:

“Huge congratulations to our latest massive winner. We have plenty of experience in supporting winners of these colossal jackpots”

He added that Allwyn would be available to support the winner as they begin dealing with the consequences of suddenly becoming one of Britain’s biggest lottery winners.

It is a significant change from the position immediately after Friday night’s draw.

When the numbers were first confirmed, players across the UK were being urged to check their tickets because Allwyn knew that one British entry had won the jackpot but did not yet have its owner.

Within the following days, the mystery ticket-holder made contact.

However, coming forward to make a claim does not automatically mean the winner’s identity will become public.

Large National Lottery prizes normally go through a validation process before payment. The operator checks the winning ticket and ensures the relevant game rules and conditions have been satisfied.

Once the necessary process has been completed, winners of major prizes can decide whether they want their identity and story to be made public.

Some of Britain’s biggest EuroMillions winners have chosen publicity, while others have remained completely anonymous.

For now, there is no confirmation about the latest winner’s name, age, occupation, hometown or whether the winning entry belonged to an individual, couple or syndicate.

There is also no evidence at this stage that the winning ticket was bought in London.

How Big Is the £111.7m EuroMillions Win?

At £111,709,000, the latest prize is comfortably inside the exclusive group of nine-figure National Lottery wins.

It does not, however, break the UK record.

That remains the £195.7 million EuroMillions jackpot won by an anonymous UK ticket holder in July 2022.

Joe and Jess Thwaite also became household names after winning £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket in May 2022.

The latest £111.7 million winner sits below those record-breaking sums but has still secured an amount capable of generating millions of pounds a year even without spending the original jackpot.

The odds underline just how unusual the result was.

Lottery couple celebrating

A EuroMillions player must match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to take the jackpot, with the odds of doing so standing at approximately one in 139.8 million.

On Friday night, just one ticket managed to produce the complete winning combination and take the entire £111.709 million top prize.

The draw also produced other UK winners at lower prize levels.

Two UK entries matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, while three UK tickets matched all five main numbers without either Lucky Star.

Separately, the winning UK Millionaire Maker code was JGDK67415, carrying its own £1 million prize.

Following the jackpot win, EuroMillions has reset to an estimated £14 million for the next draw on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.

The main question surrounding Friday’s result has therefore shifted.

Rather than “Has anybody claimed the £111m EuroMillions prize?”, the answer is now clear: yes, the UK ticket-holder has come forward.

What remains unknown is who they are.

Unless the winner chooses to reveal their identity after the claim and payment process is completed, Britain’s newest £111.7 million lottery winner could remain a mystery.
